| The Watchmakers Association of NJ was founded in 1939 for the purpose of preserving and furthering the Art and Science of Watchmaking. For 79 years it has supported watchmakers, clockmakers and others in the field of horology. Its current membership consists of watchmakers, clockmakers, watch and clock collectors, hobbyists and members of the horological industry.

| Except for the May meeting, all meetings have programs. Some examples of previous speakers are Jay Spring, Head of Citizen USA who came from California to speak on the care and service of the Citizen Ecodrive Watch, Michael Sandler who discussed his web site Timezone.com and Paul Madden, Head Instructor at the Nicloas G. Hayek Watchmaking School in Secauscus NJ. The May meeting, which is reserved for paid up members only, is an anniversary meeting with buy/sell tables, and a dinner. Guests are charged $3 at the door to cover costs of the program and refreshments. If interested in attending a meeting as a guest, please email the Webmaster listed below. List "WANJ" as the subject of your email. Annual membership dues are $50, and there is no meeting charge for members.
